I finally went night swimming at Piscine Pontoise the other night, something I've meaning to do since I arrived in Paris.
It is a beautiful old indoors pool, built in an art deco style in the 1930s. It has a big high glass roof and two levels of change rooms with cute blue doors. The tiles everywhere are just lovely.
At night time they play music.
I went with Susie the other night and did some kick-board laps while we planned a music video involving synchronised swimming and choreographed sequences of dancers bursting out of the change rooms and trotting down the twirly staircases.
It might just happen one day.
